📋 WARRANTY TERMS & CONDITIONS

The manufacturer warrants this product against failure due to defect in materials or workmanship under normal use and maintenance.

Warranty Period Begins:

  • ✅ From the date of original installation, OR
  • ✅ If date cannot be verified: 120 days from date of manufacture

Coverage:

If a part fails due to defect during the warranty period, the manufacturer will provide a new or remanufactured part (at manufacturer's option) to replace the failed part at no charge.

⚠️ IMPORTANT WARRANTY REQUIREMENTS

🔧 Professional Installation Required

Limited warranty applies ONLY to systems that are:

  • Properly installed by a state certified or licensed HVAC contractor
  • ✅ Installed under applicable local and state law
  • ✅ Installed in accordance with all building codes and permits
  • ✅ Installed following manufacturer's installation and operation instructions
  • ✅ Installed according to good trade practices

⚠️ Damage resulting from failure to install or maintain the product per manufacturer's recommendations will VOID the warranty!

✅ ADDITIONAL WARRANTY CONDITIONS

  • ✅ Warranty applies only to products remaining in their original installation location
  • ✅ Defective parts must be returned to distributor through registered servicing dealer for credit
  • ✅ Manufacturer may request a report from a qualified technician prior to honoring warranty claim
  • ✅ Warranty is non-transferable - applies only to original registered end-user

❌ WHAT IS NOT COVERED

This Warranty Does NOT Cover:

Labor or Service Costs
Diagnosing, repairing, removing, installing, shipping, servicing, or handling of defective or replacement parts
Product Cleaning
Cleaning required prior to warranty service and repair
Normal Maintenance
Filter cleaning/replacement, lubrication, and routine maintenance as outlined in Owner's Manual
Improper Use
Faulty installation, misapplication, abuse, improper servicing, unauthorized alteration, or improper operation
Power Issues
Failure to start due to voltage conditions, blown fuses, open circuit breakers, or inadequate electrical service
Acts of Nature
Floods, winds, fires, lightning, accidents, or other conditions beyond manufacturer's control
Corrosive Environments
Rust or coil/piping corrosion on installations within 1 mile of sea coast or corrosive body of water
Non-OEM Parts
Parts not supplied or designated by manufacturer, or damages resulting from their use
Outside Continental USA
Products installed outside continental United States
Energy Costs
Electricity or fuel costs, increases in utility costs, or cost of supplemental electric heat
Refrigerant
Any cost to replace, refill, or dispose of refrigerant, including cost of refrigerant
Shipping Damage
Damage during transport or as result of transporting the unit (see our Shipping Policy)
Accessories
Condensate pumps, line sets, and other accessories not covered
Consequential Damages
Any special, indirect, or consequential property or commercial damage of any nature

📝 LIMITATIONS OF WARRANTIES

Important Legal Information:

ALL IMPLIED WARRANTIES AND/OR CONDITIONS (including implied warranties or conditions of MERCHANTABILITY and FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR USE OR PURPOSE) ARE LIMITED TO THE DURATION OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY.

Some states or provinces do not allow limitations on how long an implied warranty or condition lasts, so the above may not apply to you.

THE EXPRESS WARRANTIES MADE IN THIS WARRANTY ARE EXCLUSIVE and may not be altered, enlarged, or changed by any distributor, dealer, or other person whatsoever.

Some states or provinces do not allow the exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation may not apply to you.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights which vary from state to state or province to province.

How to File a Warranty Claim:

  1. Contact the manufacturer directly - Check your product documentation for warranty support contact information
  2. Have ready:
    • Product model and serial numbers
    • Date of installation
    • Description of the issue
    • Proof of professional installation (if required)
  3. Work with your HVAC technician - Manufacturer will troubleshoot with your licensed technician
  4. Follow manufacturer's instructions for returning defective parts or receiving replacements
