💰 Fair & Transparent Refund Process
We stand behind our products and want you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. Our refund policy is designed to be fair to both our customers and our business.
✅ REFUND ELIGIBILITY
To qualify for a refund, you must:
- Contact our customer service team to obtain a return authorization number
- Return the product within 30 days of delivery date
- Ship the return within 14 days of receiving authorization
- Ensure product is unused, uninstalled, and in original condition
- Include all original packaging, manuals, and accessories
💵 REFUND DEDUCTIONS
⚠️ What Will Be Deducted From Your Refund:
Return Shipping Costs | The purchaser is responsible for return shipping costs. If we provide the shipping label, costs will be deducted from your refund. |
Restocking Fee (Free Shipping Orders) | Returns on "Free Shipping" orders: Minimum 20% restocking fee, up to 100% depending on item condition |
Condition-Based Fees | Opened boxes or items not in sellable condition may incur additional restocking fees |
📋 BEFORE REQUESTING A REFUND
Please verify ALL requirements before requesting a return:
1 | All returned merchandise must be in sellable condition |
2 | Product must be free of damages, scratches, or defects |
3 | Merchandise must NOT have been installed |
4 | Must have original manufacturer packaging (manuals, accessories, materials) |
5 | All free items, gifts, and accessories must be included |
6 | No writing or labels on original manufacturer's packaging |
7 | Freight orders must be returned via freight carrier (not ground shipping) |
* We are not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments. You must contact us to file a lost shipment claim. We recommend keeping your tracking number.
✅ REFUNDS FOR UNUSED PRODUCTS
Standard Refund Process:
We can process refunds for unused products purchased directly from Shop Mini Splits. Unused products must be returned with their original packaging within 30 days of delivery date.

- ✅ Product received and inspected: 1-3 business days
- ✅ Refund processed: 1-2 business days
- ✅ Refund appears in your account: 5-10 business days (depending on your bank)
❌ NO REFUNDS FOR OPENED/USED PRODUCTS
Used products or products that have been installed are NOT eligible for refund.
Opened box returns must be in sellable condition with original materials & packaging. Condition-based restocking fees will apply.
✨ FULFILLMENT ERRORS (OUR MISTAKE)
If we sent you incorrect items:
- ✅ We will promptly send the correct item at no additional cost
- ✅ We will schedule and pay for return shipping
- ✅ You will receive a full refund or exchange - your choice
- ✅ No restocking fees applied

- Receive RA Number: We'll provide return authorization and instructions
- Pack Securely: Use original packaging with all accessories
- Ship Within 14 Days: Send return via appropriate carrier
- We Inspect: Item checked for condition upon receipt (1-3 days)
- Refund Calculated: Original payment minus shipping & fees
- Refund Issued: Processed to original payment method
- Refund Received: Appears in your account (5-10 business days)
💳 REFUND METHOD
Refunds are issued to the original payment method used for purchase.
- 💳 Credit/Debit Cards: 5-10 business days for refund to appear
- 💰 PayPal: 3-5 business days
- 🏦 Bank Transfer: 5-10 business days
⚠️ PARTIAL REFUNDS
Partial refunds may be issued if:
- ❌ Item shows signs of use or wear
- ❌ Original packaging is damaged or missing
- ❌ Accessories or manuals are missing
- ❌ Product has scratches, dents, or other damage
- ❌ Item is returned outside the 14-day authorization window
🚫 NON-REFUNDABLE ITEMS
The following are NOT eligible for refund:
- ❌ Installed or used mini split systems
- ❌ Products returned after 30 days from delivery
- ❌ Items damaged by customer or during customer's return shipment
- ❌ Accessories that have been installed or used (line sets, brackets, etc.)
- ❌ Items without return authorization number
- ❌ Products with serial numbers removed or altered
- ❌ Clearance or final sale items (where indicated)

Q: When will I receive my refund?
A: Once we receive and inspect your return (1-3 business days), refunds are processed within 1-2 business days. It takes 5-10 business days for the refund to appear in your account, depending on your financial institution.
Q: Can I cancel my order before it ships?
A: Yes! Contact us immediately if you need to cancel. If the order hasn't shipped yet, we can cancel it with no fees. Once shipped, standard return policy applies.
Q: What if I received a damaged item?
A: Document damage on the delivery receipt before the driver leaves! Report shipping damage within 3 days. We'll arrange replacement at no cost to you. See our Shipping Policy for details.
Q: Can I exchange for a different model?
A: Yes! Contact us to arrange an exchange. You'll need to return the original item and place a new order for the desired model.
