Our primary goal is to ensure complete customer satisfaction. If you need to return your product, we're here to help make the process smooth and straightforward.
📋 RETURN POLICY OVERVIEW
We offer a 30-day return policy on unused mini split systems. If you wish to return your purchase, you must:
- Call or email us to obtain a return authorization number
- Return your product within 30 days of the delivery date
- Return within 14 days of receiving return authorization
💰 RETURN COSTS & RESTOCKING FEES
⚠️ Important Information
- Return shipping costs: The purchaser is responsible for the cost of return shipping, which will be deducted from your refund if we provide the shipping label
- Free shipping orders: All returns associated with our "Free Shipping" offer will be subject to a minimum 20% restocking fee, up to 100% depending on the condition of the item(s)
- Opened box returns: Extra restocking fee will apply depending on the condition of the returned item
❌ WHAT WE CANNOT ACCEPT
We CANNOT accept:
- ❌ Partial returns or component swaps after order was shipped
- ❌ Used or installed products
- ❌ Products with damaged or missing packaging
- ❌ Items returned after 30 days from delivery date
- ❌ Items returned after 14 days from authorization date
We can ONLY accept complete orders, the same way they were shipped - no exceptions.

Please verify ALL of the following before setting up a return:

☑️ | Merchandise has NOT been installed |
☑️ | You have original manufacturer packaging (manuals, accessories, materials) |
☑️ | All free or gift items and accessories are included |
☑️ | No writing or labels on original packaging |
☑️ | Freight orders will be returned via freight carrier |
* We are not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments. We recommend keeping your tracking number. You must contact us to file a lost shipment claim.
🔄 RETURNS FOR UNUSED PRODUCTS
Standard Return Process:
We can process exchanges or refunds for unused products purchased directly from Shop Mini Splits. Unused products must be returned with their original packaging within 30 days of the delivery date and within 14 days of return authorization.
⚠️ Returns shipped after the 14-day authorization period are not subject to refund.
📦 RETURNS FOR OPENED/USED PRODUCTS
Used products or products that have been installed are NOT eligible for return.
Opened box returns must be in sellable condition with original materials & packaging. Extra restocking fee will apply depending on the condition of the received return.
📝 FULFILLMENT ERRORS (OUR MISTAKE)
If we sent incorrect items in your order:
- ✅ We will promptly send the correct item at no additional cost
- ✅ We will schedule and pay for return shipping
- ✅ You must notify us within 30 days of order delivery
We take full responsibility for our errors and will make it right at no cost to you!
⚠️ RETURNS FOR DEFECTIVE UNITS
🔧 Factory Defects - Important Information
Please be reminded: As per product description and legal requirements, a licensed HVAC technician is required to perform installation.
If the item doesn't work directly from the box:
Once a unit has been installed, the manufacturer is responsible for warranty and parts. You should contact the manufacturer directly so they can troubleshoot the problem with your technician.

Check your product documentation for manufacturer warranty support.
If confirmed defective from factory:
- We will cover the return shipping costs
- You will receive a full refund
- You must provide:
- Report from licensed HVAC technician confirming original installation
- Technician's name, address, phone, and HVAC license number
- Case number from manufacturer
- Documentation of discovered factory defect
Return Requirements:
- ✅ Systems must be palletized and strapped down
- ✅ Include all original packaging
- ✅ Return via freight carrier (ground service risks damage)

📝 RETURN PROCESS STEPS
- Contact us to obtain Return Authorization (RA) number
- Pack item in original packaging with all accessories
- Ship within 14 days of receiving RA number
- We inspect returned item upon receipt
- Refund processed minus shipping costs and restocking fee (if applicable)
- Refund issued to original payment method within 5-10 business days
